1. "I went over to my window and opened it and packed a snowball with my bare hands. A little while later, I still had it with me when I Brossard and Ackley got on the bus. The bus driver opened the doors and made me throw it out. I told him I wasn't going to chuck it at anybody, but he wouldn't believe me. People never believe you."
2. I chose this scene to blog about because I thought it was very strange. I don't understand why you would want to carry around a snowball. He said it looked too nice to throw at anything, but even if that was true why would you want to carry around a snowball for no reason in your bare hands. Where he says that the driver didn't believe him I probably wouldn't have either. You don't usually see people carrying around snowballs just for the fun of it.
3. To be completely honest I have no idea why Salinger made this a big point. Maybe it was just a filler or something. It was just weird. I don't know why he mentioned this.
I found that part really wierd too. It seemed like Salinger added alot of these things in the book. I agree that it was wierd he made it a big point. It really has no significance to the story at all but i think that the window was the more important part of that passage than the snowball. I really dont have a clue though. You chose a good passage.
